Developing a customized solution for you is why we are here!

What is a Chemical Peel?

Chemical Peels cause controlled damage to the epidermis and or dermis with the goal of stimulating new tissue to improve skin texture and tone. This process reveals a smoother and more radiant, youthful complexion.

There are several acids that can be used within clinic to give you the best results depending on your concerns.

  • Glycolic acid: This can treat surface-level pigmentation, mild signs of aging, fine lines, and sun damage.

  • Lactic acid: This is also useful for minor sun damage, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation. It has similar benefits as glycolic acid.

  • Mandelic acid: This acid is effective for treating superficial redness and an uneven skin tone.

  • Salicylic acid: This can help with oily or acne-prone skin to prevent breakouts, inflammation and congestion.

How do Chemical Peels work?

Chemical peels are cosmetic treatments that involve using acids to exfoliate the skin.

The acid removes a uniform amount of damaged skin cells across the treatment area.

Chemical peels can affect the epidermis and dermis depending on the strength of the peel.

Where can you use Chemical Peels?

Chemical Peel can be used anywhere on the body. At Prestige, we use chemical peels on the face, neck, decollete, acne prone backs, hands for anti-aging or your chest to brighten up for an event.

You name it- we can treat it!

How often can we treat with Chemical Peels?

Chemical peels will help to reduce acne breakouts, mild lightening of hyperpigmentation, reduction of pore size, improve overall texture and help even out skin tone.

You can have a treatment once a week for 3-6 weeks and then do maintenance treatments once a month to keep up with your radiant results.

In clinic treatments:

One of our most popular treatments is a Chemical Peel with Laser Genesis which helps to stimulate collagen and elastin along with brightening properties of the peel, our patients are left with glowing and taut skin!

At home treatments:

Enzymatic peel is an easy way to get that instant glow overnight. It can be used anywhere from 30min to an overnight treatment to help digest away dead skin cells and refresh your complexion with no downtime.

If you are an advanced retinol user and are looking for a more aggressive "cure", the Radical Night Repair at home peel is a no brainer! This peel is best for patients who are looking for tightening and firming and treating superficial hyperpigmentation. With a few days of redness and peeling- this at home treatment is truly worth it for a flawless complexion! It can be done several times a year to prevent/correct anti-aging or improve your overall texture and especially any pigmentation.

Both in-clinic and at home treatments are recommended along with a ZO medical skincare regimen and daily re-application of sunscreen!

Receiving the best results means that you have to stay consistent with the use of your at home products and in clinic treatments.
