What is a Chemical Peel?

There are several acids that can be used within clinic to give you the best results depending on your concerns.
Glycolic acid: This can treat surface-level pigmentation, mild signs of aging, fine lines, and sun damage.
Lactic acid: This is also useful for minor sun damage, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation. It has similar benefits as glycolic acid.
Mandelic acid: This acid is effective for treating superficial redness and an uneven skin tone.

You can have a treatment once a week for 3-6 weeks and then do maintenance treatments once a month to keep up with your radiant results.

This peel is best for patients who are looking for tightening and firming and treating superficial hyperpigmentation. With a few days of redness and peeling- this at home treatment is truly worth it for a flawless complexion! It can be done several times a year to prevent/correct anti-aging or improve your overall texture and especially any pigmentation.
Both in-clinic and at home treatments are recommended along with a ZO medical skincare regimen and daily re-application of sunscreen!
