Dermaplaning
Give your skin a fresh start with Dermaplaning

About Dermaplaning
Using a surgical blade, Dermaplaning offers a superficial exfoliation and the removal of vellus hair (peach fuzz).
By removing any build up of dead cells, the skin will look brighter, feel smoother, and any products used afterwards will penetrate deeper.
How it works
An exfoliating treatment offered by our medical aestheticians, we perform gentle strokes of a surgical blade on surface of your skin to remove dead skin and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). Dermaplaning is a great add on to a chemical peel or Laser Skin Rejuvenation.

FAQ
How many treatments are needed?

Dermaplaning can be done consistently all year around, but due to the extent of exfoliation, treatments must be at least 4 weeks apart. They are a great add on to some of our other services and can be used towards creating and maintaining skin health.
Are the treatments comfortable?

There is no discomfort with the treatment. However, any of our chemical peels will tingle more after a Dermaplaning add on due to the extra exfoliation.
How much is each treatment?

Is there any downtime or any restrictions post treatment?

You can return to all normal activities right away. Always let us know if you are preparing for a special occasion so we can tailor your treatment accordingly. If you wish to wear makeup immediately post procedure, we strongly suggest our Jane Iredale mineral makeup. Jane Iredale products are safe for post procedure, feel weightless, and provide beautiful coverage. You can feel good about wearing any of the Jane Iredale products knowing they’re all healthy for the skin.
Am I a good candidate for treatment?

Unfortunately we cannot treat over active acne. Otherwise, we can treat all skin types, anytime of the year.
