About Skin Tags
Skin tags are benign growths of the skin and are composed of collagen and blood vessels. They often occur in areas where there is greatest friction (ex. skin rubbing on skin or clothes). A skin tag often appears as a soft, hanging bulb of skin that is attached to a stalk or peduncle. Although the exact cause of skin tags is unknown, they seem to be associated with pregnancy, obesity, diabetes, hyperinsulinemia and genetics.
How it works
During a skin tag removal treatment, we deliver laser energy and heat into the lesion. This is effective at targeting and destroying the unwanted skin tag and the skin tag will eventually shed off the skin.

After Treatment Care
Keep the area treated clean and protected from the sun making sure to b applying and reapplying SPF 30 or higher throughout the day. Allow this kin to heal and do not pick at the skin tag. The lesion will "fall off" on its own.
