So how does laser hair removal work?
The laser light is attracted to the pigment in the hair follicle and damages it at the root, leaving the surrounding skin unaffected. The damaged hair follicle will then no longer produce hair.

You can return to most of your normal activities right away, but there may be some redness in the treated area. It is important to refrain from anything that causes excessive heat or sweat for 24 hours following your treatment. Avoid direct sun exposure 7-10 days after treatment and when doing a series of treatments it is important to keep the area covered and out of the sun for the span of your treatments. ALWAYS apply SPF30+ to the areas exposed to the sun. It is also important to only shave in between laser treatments. The hair follicle must be completely intact to be properly damaged by the laser.
